Delete your account

You can delete your Now Playing account and its data at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data when you do.

From the app

  1. Open Now Playing and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, email support@gorlamillc.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We'll verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, name, email address, and profile picture;
  • Your watchlist, viewing history, and ratings;
  • Your reviews, comments, and lists;
  • Your follower and following connections.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Backups are purged on our normal backup rotation, within 30 days of deletion. We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request, and any information we are required to keep by law.

Revoking Google access

If you signed in with Google, you can also remove Now Playing's access from your Google Account permissions. Revoking access on its own does not delete your Now Playing account — use one of the steps above for that.
